My client is a multi-site award-winning firm with a reputation for providing excellent legal services across the East Midlands. They are currently looking to hire a Personal Injury Solicitor to join their dedicated team based at their Nottingham city centre office.
The Role:
As a Personal Injury Solicitor, you will be responsible for handling a varied caseload, primarily focusing on Road Traffic Offenses (RTO), Employer’s Liability (EL), and Public Liability (PL) matters. You will also have the opportunity to gain experience and assist with complex Clinical Negligence cases, including areas such as contaminated blood, abdominal mesh matters, and vaccine damage. You will be joining a close-knit team of 5 dedicated PI professionals, where you will receive full support and guidance to develop your career further.
The Role involves:
1. liaising with clients
2. providing legal advice and managing cases through to resolution
3. delivering the highest level of client care
4. keeping up to date with relevant case law and regulations
You:
1. You will have experience in dealing with Road Traffic Offenses (RTO), Employer’s Liability (EL), and Public Liability (PL) matters, with a solid understanding of personal injury law.
2. You should have the willingness to develop your skills further and assist with Clinical Negligence cases, including those involving contaminated blood, abdominal mesh, and vaccine damage, while working collaboratively within a supportive team environment.
3. You will be capable of managing a diverse caseload and offering exceptional legal services to clients, demonstrating a proactive and client-focused approach at all times.
4. You will also be confident in your ability to communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, and other professionals and will be able to manage your time effectively to ensure deadlines and targets are met.
Essential Requirements:
1. Experience in handling RTO, EL, and PL matters.
2. Willingness to learn and assist with Clinical Negligence cases, particularly those involving contaminated blood, abdominal mesh, and vaccine damage.
3. Strong communication skills, with the ability to deal with clients and colleagues in a professional and empathetic manner.
4. Organizational skills to manage multiple cases simultaneously and meet deadlines.
5. Ability to work effectively as part of a close-knit team.
6. Proactive attitude, keen to assist with both the routine and complex aspects of personal injury law.
