Job responsibilities
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate GP Phlebotomist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing blood draws and other specimen collections, ensuring accurate and timely handling of samples, and providing excellent patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform venipunctures and capillary punctures to collect blood samples from patients.
- Properly identify and label specimens, ensuring accuracy and compliance with laboratory standards.
- Maintain detailed and accurate patient records and documentation of procedures.
- Prepare specimens to the laboratory for testing, following all relevant protocols.
- Adhere to infection control and safety procedures at all times.
