Strategic HR Business Partner
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced HR Professional who wishes to expand their experience and lead a number of exciting and innovative HR projects.
Reporting into the Head of HR Business Partnering, this role has a broad portfolio: overseeing two distinct divisions within the wider BP team. Supporting our HR and operational colleagues within the integrated contract centre division (ICC) - this includes the 999 and 111 call centres. As well as overseeing an established Attendance Improvement Unit which manages some of our external contracts which include: Occupational Health and drug and alcohol testing.
Main duties of the job
The successful candidate will have a strong operational HR background, and possess the necessary technical HR expertise to enable them to provide high quality advice and guidance on a range of HR/employment related matters. As this post holder will be instrumental in developing and supporting line managers, by equipping them with the skills and knowledge they need to lead their teams with compassion. Resilience along with the desire to work in a fast-paced, high-pressured environment and the ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities is a must for this role.
The ideal candidate will be self-motivated and take full responsibility for developing and project managing respective activity within their area of responsibility, with support and guidance from the Head of Business HR.

North West Ambulance Service NHS Trust provides 24 hour, 365 days a year accident and emergency services to those in need of emergency medical treatment and transport.
Our highly skilled staff provide life-saving care to patients in the community and take people to hospital or a place of care if needed.
We also provide non-emergency patient transport services for those patients who require non-emergency transport to and from hospital and who are unable to travel unaided because of their medical condition or clinical need.
Alongside the other emergency services, we also work to ensure the safety of the public and treatment of patients in the event of a major incident.
We also deliver the NHS 111 service in the North West. NHS 111 replaced NHS Direct in 2013. This service was introduced to make it easier for people to access local NHS healthcare services in England. It provides non-emergency medical help fast, and is available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
