Axcis Education are looking for a teaching assistant for a secondary school based on the outskirts of the Chorley area. The school is a large, secondary provision which caters for KS3 and KS4 students in a range of subjects. The school are looking for a full-time teaching assistant to join their growing SEND department and the school are looking for a candidate seeking a long term, position, for the new academic year. The school are looking for a teaching assistant, to provide 1:1 and small group support to students with additional needs and some challenging behaviours. The school are seeking a teaching assistant who is confident and eager to make a real difference in school. The role will start in September and you will be booked in, on a long term basis, with the potential to become a permanent member of staff. The role will require you to work with students who have additional needs including autism, ADHD, SEMH difficulties and challenging behaviours. The role will require you to work across a range of subjects, both KS3 and 4. The candidate should be experienced in working with secondary aged students and the candidate should be seeking a long term position, in a forward thinking secondary school. The candidate should be seeking a position supporting students with special educational needs. The pay for this role will be £99 per day and school hours ae 830am - 330pm Monday - Friday.
