Job summary The Vascular Imaging Department at York Hospital is looking for an outgoing individual to join our friendly multidisciplinary team as an Imaging Support Worker. This role is primarily a patient transportation position but with the opportunity to add skills such as patient observations and cannula removal following appropriate training. You must have good people and communication skills. Main duties of the job Transportation of patients between VIU and wards/departments. Transportation of specimens and equipment. Cleaning / refuse management. Restocking of medical equipment. Management of oxygen supplies. Patient care and cannula removal following appropriate training.
