REGIONAL SALES MANAGER - MIDLANDS

We are looking for a motivated sales manager to join a market leading manufacturer in their respective field. You will be a key member in the sales and development of all products. With progressive training and development, this company is always looking to enhance its employees and their skill sets, whilst additionally being supported by a welcoming team of engineers. The position will appeal to a strong candidate looking for their next challenging role within a secure and stable company.
Job Description:
Your new role will be focused on generating new enquiries and sales and maintaining and growing our current customer portfolio to achieve our sales targets and company objectives. Your regional responsibilities will include the following:
1. Contributing to the development of the Sales and Marketing strategy for your territory,
2. Identifying and developing new opportunities and customers for the NIKKEN range of products,
3. Undertaking specific sales projects in a multi-disciplinary team with our technical product specialist to provide customised solutions for companies in your region,
4. Maintaining excellent customer care through regular aftersales contact with existing established customers,
5. Supporting exhibitions and other customer events both in the UK and abroad.
Qualifications/Experience:
1. Experienced engineer with an appreciation for world-class engineering solutions,
2. Background in mechanical engineering and manufacturing experience,
3. Experience working with Rotary Tables, Tool Holding and other engineering solutions,
4. Knowledge of engineering applications and CNC Machine Tools,
5. Ability to interpret drawings to identify a solution and present cost-saving benefits,
6. Currently or previously a Production Engineer, Production Manager, Project Manager, Technical Sales Engineer or similar looking for new opportunities,
7. Dynamic, enthusiastic, self-motivated and driven with excellent communication skills,
8. Technical sales experience is advantageous but not essential.
