About the Role: Deliver engaging and varied Music lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, covering music theory, history, composition, and performance. Develop and implement stimulating lesson plans that cater to a range of musical interests and abilities, incorporating both traditional and contemporary approaches. Assess student progress through practical performances, compositions, written work, and aural tests, providing constructive feedback to support their musical development. Contribute to the vibrant extracurricular musical life of the school, including leading or assisting with school ensembles, choirs, and instrumental tuition. Ideal Candidate: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in Music. A strong knowledge of music theory, history, and performance practices across a range of genres. Proficiency in playing at least one musical instrument to a high standard. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate students of all musical abilities.
