Employee Services Assistant - Undergraduate Placement

Job overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen for talented undergraduate students who are seeking a Human Resources placement year. You will work as part of the Human Resources team here at Frimley Health Foundation Trust and provide excellent administration and support across a wide range of HR activities. You will be required to work in the office 5 days a week, and it is cross site working, Slough, Ascot and Frimley.
Main duties of the job
The role is based in our corporate offices at Heatherwood Hospital, Ascot and you should be prepared to travel across all Trust sites. These roles are fixed term for up to 12 months (subject to university placement criteria). You will currently be in your second year at university studying towards a human resources or business studies related degree and be required to undertake an industrial placement year.

Person specification
Qualifications
* Good general education (5 GCSEs or equivalent at C or above) or equivalent experience
* Certificate in HR Practice (CHRP / CPP) or equivalent level of experience
Experience
* Experience of working as part of a team
* Experience of working in an office environment / administrative role
* Experience of working in the healthcare sector
* Experience of working in a customer service environment
Skills & Knowledge
* Experience of using Microsoft Office applications (i.e. Word, Excel, Outlook)
* Knowledge of records management, information governance and data protection
* Ability to manage conflicting priorities and work to tight deadlines and targets
* Ability to produce statistical and narrative reports
* Working knowledge of the Electronic Staff Record
