Due to our continued growth we arerecruiting for a customerfocused enthusiastic Senior Service DeskTechnician to join our team.
As a Senior ServiceDesk Technician (Tier 2) at Get Support your mission is to deliverprofessional customer service and technical support to our valuedclients. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the smoothoperation of their IT systems ensuring operational Key PerformanceIndicators are met and contract obligations arefulfilled.
IT Support (remote andonsite) responsibilitiesinclude:
* Providingefficient and effective customer service to endusers andstakeholders.
* Logging and managing incomingissues through our ITSM software.
* Diagnosingand resolving complex issues escalated by Tier 1 Service DeskTechnicians.
* Collaborating with Tier 3 ServiceDesk Technicians when necessary to resolveissues.
* Prioritising and managing your workloadto meet client SLAs.
* Coordinating with thirdparties to install configure and deploysoftware.
* Setting up and deploying new usershardware and software.
* Adhering to companypolicies procedures and bestpractices.
* Documenting and updating recordspertaining to supported networks anddevices.
To excel in this role youshould have proven experience in an IT support environmentpreferably within an MSP. You should show strong customer serviceskills be organised and possess strong communication problemsolvingand IT skills along with:
* Solidunderstanding of Windows Server including Windows Server2012/2016/2019/2022 Active Directory and Server Roles and Features(Group Policy DHCP DNS NTFS File Permissions Remote Desktop RolesMicrosoft Exchange).
* Advanced experience withWindows 10.
* Familiarity with Office 365licensing and administration.
* Basicunderstanding of TCP/IP networking.
Afull UK driving licence would be beneficial.
