Job Title: Programme Management Placement
Location: Mercedes AMG HPP
Role Overview: Be part of the team who ensures the timely delivery of approved Power Unit hardware, for internal and external usage, to a Top Level PowerUnit Plan (TLPUP). A role of significant responsibility, regularly liaising with the business’s key stakeholders, requiring confidence and interpersonal skills, alongside exceptional levels of organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Responsible for PU Hardware delivery, ownership and in-season maintenance
2. Hardware Trackers and Shortage Status
3. Product Kitting and Build Request amendments
4. Build & Test scheduling and prioritization
Material Planning: Manage and control the Engineering defined Bill of Materials (BoM) for the entire PowerUnit, ensuring specification decisions and order strategies are well understood and respected by the business, to guarantee on-time material/component supply.
Additional Responsibilities:
1. Full PU Bill of Material (BoM) ownership and maintenance
2. Entire PU demand creation and management across multiple projects/programmes
3. Processing of Engineering Change Notifications
4. Bespoke Planning strategies for long lead-time and complex components
Both opportunities are intrinsically interlinked. Close collaboration, and naturally a degree of cross-over, is essential to maximise the department’s success and effectiveness.

What Do We Need From You?
1. A curious, tenacious and driven individual with a hunger to work in a fast-paced high-pressure environment
2. You will be on track to achieve a 2.1 degree or above in a relevant Engineering, Science or Technology subject
3. A strong academic background in relevant A Level disciplines, for example business studies, economics, maths or sciences
4. Demonstrate exceptional levels of organisation, with the ability to manage periods of high workload
5. The desire and enthusiasm to consistently deliver innovative solutions
6. The courage to challenge, backed by a methodical, professional and conscientious approach
7. The ability to work using your own initiative and take accountability
8. A confident and natural communication style that is adaptable to your audience
9. A relentless desire to win, willing to go the extra mile to help the team succeed
What To Do Next: Submit your online application, CV and covering letter. Complete online psychometric testing. Your application will be screened by HR and the hiring manager. If successful, you will be invited to attend an Assessment Centre at HPP which will take place November 2024 – March 2025. If successful, your scheme will start in August/September 2025.
