Finance Assistant
TTO 40 weeks, Temporary 1 year FTC
Grade E 7 NJC, (£25,584 FTE)
37 hours per week

Are you a detail-oriented finance professional looking to make a meaningful impact in the education sector? We are seeking a highly motivated Finance Assistant to join our dedicated team and play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of our financial, payroll and procurement processes.

The Role
As Finance Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the efficient operation of the Trust’s financial, payroll and procurement systems. Working closely with the finance team, you will support the Trust with financial transactions, budgeting and reporting, contributing to the overall financial health and compliance of the Trust. This is a dynamic role, offering the opportunity to work over a variety of tasks and liaise with and support a range of stakeholders.
About You:
1. Experience in finance, accounting, or a similar role (education sector experience is a plus)
2. Strong numerical and analytical skills
3. Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel
4. Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
5. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
6. Possess excellent communication skills
