Qualification
Essential criteria
1. Registration (or anticipated imminent registration) on a suitable PSA accredited or HCPC register; i.e. RCT or AHCS.
2. Current driving license.
Experience
Essential criteria
1. Experience in a technical or scientific field.
Desirable criteria
1. Experience of X-ray quality assurance and radiation protection.
2. Experience of ultrasound QA.
Skills, Knowledge and Ability
Essential criteria
1. Computer skills (word processing, spreadsheets, use of internet).
Desirable criteria
1. Understanding of ionising and non-ionising radiation risks to staff, patients and the public.
2. Detailed knowledge of radiation regulations and guidance.
3. Knowledge of use of radiation in medicine.
4. Extensive experience with radiation measuring equipment.
5. Advanced computer skills (database and web programming).
Other Requirements
Essential criteria
1. Team worker.
2. Good communication skills.
3. Independent learner.
4. Self-motivated.
Desirable criteria
1. Own car.
