About the Role:
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced and confident professional in Tissue Viability. The successful candidate will act as a clinical expert using an evidence-based approach and will be active in providing support to clinicians externally as well as collaborating with colleagues internally to deliver on the strategy for the North Hub. The North Hub includes Northern Ireland and The Republic of Ireland. They will provide clinical support and expertise to the hub, implement and support Coloplast partnership accounts with key stakeholders, and monitor and manage the progress of these accounts, resolving issues proactively. Additionally, the role involves educating and training on tissue viability practices within various healthcare settings, teaching and supporting patients and carers, delivering written publications, posters, and oral presentations at conferences, and contributing to Coloplast Marketing projects. Staying updated with the latest evidence in wound care and competitor markets, enabling clinicians to advance clinical practice, and measuring and analysing the impact of TVN inputs are also key aspects of this role.
Who Are We Looking For:
We are seeking a highly skilled and credible professional with a degree-level qualification as a Registered General Nurse (active PIN essential) and a postgraduate qualification in Tissue Viability. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience as a Tissue Viability Nurse Specialist, recent clinical expertise in tissue viability including leg ulcer management, and competence in leading teaching programmes and presentation skills. They should possess strong interpersonal skills, empathy, and teamwork, along with good business acumen and commercial awareness. Innovative and creative thinking, passion, empathy, drive, and a positive attitude are essential. The candidate should also have analytical skills to simplify clinical evidence for various audiences, high motivational and organizational skills, the ability to work autonomously, flexibility to work in a dynamic environment, and a willingness to travel. A full UK driver’s license is essential.
