Salary: Support Staff Pay Scale L/M (Scale dependent on qualifications and experience): £46,731 - £57,678

This Financial Accountant vacancy is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious applicant to gain valuable experience in the public education sector. We are seeking a confident, highly organised and motivated Financial Accountant to welcome into our dynamic, high achieving finance team. You will be a pivotal and supportive member of the team.
You will lead our team of Management Accountants and support in the delivery of our accurate monthly and annual accounts, preparing and monitoring budgets, and ensuring that we meet all regulatory and statutory requirements and best practice. You will have excellent presentation and organisation skills and the ability to build strong collaborative relationships with key stakeholders, ensuring that we are offering the highest standard of education to our pupils at all times.
Experience of working within the education finance sector would be a significant advantage but demonstration of the ability to transfer skills from other sectors would be equally advantageous, along with experience of managing a professional team.
The ideal candidate will have:
