Dealer – Liquidity Management – Treasury Execution
What we are looking for:
We are seeking a talented Dealer to join our Treasury Liquidity Management Team at Manager or Associate Director Level. (Depending on skills and experience).
You will play a key role executing cash and liquidity optimisation strategies, contribute to Liability/Funding Management activities for the Asset-Backed Commercial Paper (ABCP) conduit and coordinate/give guidance to active liquidity management in London. The role involves raising, pricing and placement of short-term funding along with vigilant intra-day monitoring of liquidity risks to ensure they remain within set limits. You’ll expertly manage the liquidity gap profile to meet targets and limits, while also fostering and maintaining crucial relationships with regulators, investors and clients.
The Function & Role:
Treasury is part of the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) domain and contributes to the CFO ‘High Tech, High Touch’ strategy on all three key responsibility areas of the CFO domain, namely: Balance Sheet Management, External Accountability & Stakeholder Management and Internal Performance Management.
In essence the Treasury function excels in centralising interest rates, liquidity, and FX risks within the banking book, ensuring robust management of funding and liquidity through strategic steering and execution.

Skills & Experience Required:
* Market experience in Financial markets Trading/Execution
* Money Markets, Funding, Hedging, Liquidity Management
* Product knowledge and pricing fundamentals of CD/CP, FRNs, MTNs, Deposits, Loans, Spot FX, FX Swaps, FRAs, STIR Futures, Swaps, Basis Swaps
* Interest and understanding of Money Markets, Central Bank operations (BoE SMF), unsecured bank funding markets, and front end rates markets in general
* Awareness of Bank liquidity regulations, internal metrics and high level Bank Treasury concepts
* Knowledge of systems such as Bloomberg, Bloomberg TOMs Trading, familiarity with Bloomberg Money Market Securities
* Advanced MS Excel with (VBA), macros and programming would be an advantage, especially in respect of familiarity with Bloomberg Add-ins in Excel, building/maintaining pricing sheets.
* Knowledge of additional systems such as Murex, Reuters, BrokerTec, BoE B-tender would be an advantage
* Knowledge of other languages or an interest to develop skills such as Python, SQL etc
* Keen interest and willingness to support innovation in terms of DLT, CBDC and other topics
* Any knowledge/experience within the ABCP Conduit Space would be an advantage.
