More detail about the role This is post is based at Bideford Hospital which is a busy Community Hospital based in this lovely coastal town. The team also provide an MSK service based at Holsworthy Hospital which is located near north Dartmoor. The team consists of senior support workers, Band 5 and 6 posts as well as Band 7 advanced practice clinicians. Both sites have excellent facilities. You will be responsible for leadership and delivery of the elective MSK Physiotherapy service across the cluster through operational management of the team of clinicians. You will have your own caseload and be part of the senior clinician team and through this be engaging in quality improvement projects. Patients are referred from GPs, FCPs, Consultants and other healthcare professionals. We run many different exercise classes across the community sites and are also lucky enough to have a hydrotherapy pool at North Devon District Hospital in Barnstable. You will be supported by both a professional and operational lead to help you reach your potential. There is strong collaborative working with both local team lead colleagues and across the wider MSK service which covers Exeter, North, Mid and East Devon.
