Key Responsibilities: Set up, operate, and maintain CNC and manual machines to produce high-quality components. Interpret technical drawings and blueprints to ensure accurate measurements and specifications. Select and install the correct tooling and materials based on job requirements. Monitor machine performance and make necessary adjustments to ensure optimal operation. Perform regular machine maintenance and troubleshooting to minimize downtime. Adhere to strict quality control standards and carry out inspections of parts using measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, etc.). Work collaboratively with other team members and departments to meet production deadlines. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, following all safety protocols and company procedures. Document production data, including any issues encountered during machining processes. Key Skills & Experience: Proven experience as a CNC Manual Machinist or similar role within a manufacturing environment. Strong knowledge of CNC programming, operation, and manual machining techniques. Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints. Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work. Experience with a range of machining tools, including lathes, mills, grinders, and drills. Ability to use precision measuring instruments to verify the accuracy of components. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot machine issues. Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team. Knowledge of health and safety regulations and the ability to maintain a safe working environment. Desirable: Experience with Siemens or Fanuc CNC controls. Relevant certifications or qualifications (e.g., City & Guilds or equivalent). Ability to work with various materials such as metals, plastics, and composites.
