Academics have an exciting opportunity for you to join an amazing secondary school in Basingstoke which caters for students with social, emotional and mental health needs (SEMH) and autistic spectrum condition (ASC).
The school is looking to appoint a Safeguarding, Welfare and Attendance Manager (SWAM) to become part of their growing team. This is a permanent position starting ASAP, working 42.5 hours per week.

Responsibilities:
1. Manage safeguarding, welfare, and attendance protocols.
2. Build strong relationships with young people while maintaining confidentiality.
3. Remain calm under pressure and demonstrate patience and empathy.
Minimum Requirements:
1. Previous training/experience within a safeguarding/attendance role, Social Services, or Police.
2. GCSE Maths and English grades between A-C.
3. Good understanding of attendance protocols.
