Job summary Working as a Band 5 Staff Nurse in Outpatients you will be expected to ensure a high standard of patient care is delivered in an effective and efficient manner, reflecting the values and ethos of The Royal Orthopaedic Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. Main duties of the job As a staff nurse in outpatients, you will be supporting clinicians to manage patients through a variety of orthopaedic clinics so good communication skills are essential You will also undertake specialist nurse led dressing clinics with the support of the multidisciplinary team providing wound care and the knowledge to promote wound healing, which will be underpinned by attending a wound care course/module at Birmingham City University.
