About the job
We are looking to recruit a Grade 5 Support Worker under a permanent contract in a supported living setting. This role is for 30 hours per week.
We work creatively using a strength-based model and evidence based practices to achieve the best outcomes for our adults and their families.
This role will involve working with individuals with a learning disability, to support them achieve positive outcomes in their lives. CSL (Cardiff Supported Living) is part of a wider Integrated Team, and the work involves collaboration and partnership working with colleagues across health, social care and third-party organisations who share the aim of ensuring adults promote their independence and maintain their wellbeing.
We are a regulated service, and we would expect you to meet the criteria to enable you to register with Social Care Wales.
You will work with adults and their families to follow care and support plans that will enable them to achieve their personal outcomes and what matters to them. You will receive regular supervision from a Grade 6 Senior Support Worker within your team. As a valued staff member of Cardiff Council Adult Services you will have access to training opportunities to ensure your continued professional development.

4. You will want to work in the capital city of Wales in Services where we support each other and work in partnership with our colleagues in Health.
5. The ability to speak other languages, in particular Welsh, and Community Languages would be an advantage.
