Shepparton Truck Centre Pty Ltd has been operating in the Shepparton area for over 30 years. The business is seeking a full-time licensed Forklift Driver at our site in Shepparton, Victoria 3630. The salary offered is $71,350 per annum plus superannuation.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
* Operating controls to align forklifts and raise and lower forks to move truck parts within service centre.
* Transporting truck parts and accessories from one area of site to another.
* Ensuring truck parts are stored in correct areas so that they can be easily located.
* Monitoring equipment operation visually through gauges and instruments and through computerised monitoring equipment.
* Inspecting and controlling equipment to identify wear and damage.
* Servicing and performing minor repairs and adjustments to forklifts.
Required Skills and Experience:
* At least 2 years of work experience in operating forklifts.
* Forklift licence.
* Relevant AQF Certificate II or III (preferred).
* Ability to work with minimal supervision.
* Sound knowledge of machine and mechanical aptitude.
* Good team member and leadership skills.
