Main duties of the job
This role involves caring for children on Tom's Ward with the support of a registered nurse and being responsible for some housekeeping duties. Training will be provided to successful applicants to complete competencies enabling them to undertake specific additional nursing care duties.
Tom's Ward is an acute, surgical children's ward accommodating up to 20 patients aged 0-16 years, primarily caring for patients requiring emergency and elective surgery.
