JOB DESCRIPTION: SEN Tutor Location: South East England, Berkshire, Reading Job Type: Temporary, Part-Time hours Salary: £20 - £30 per hour Job Duties: Provide tailored educational support to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) Develop and implement individualised learning plans based on students' needs Deliver engaging lessons using appropriate teaching strategies to support SEN students Monitor and assess student progress, adjusting teaching methods as necessary Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students effectively Required Qualifications: Experience working with students with SEN Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual student needs Education: Relevant qualification in Special Educational Needs or related field Experience: Prior experience working as an SEN tutor or in a similar role Knowledge and Skills: Understanding of different SEN conditions and how they affect learning Ability to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment Strong organisational skills and attention to detail Preferred Qualifications: Additional training in SEN teaching strategies Experience working in a school or educational setting Working Conditions: Part-time hours, flexible schedule Work primarily in a classroom or educational setting May require travel to different locations to provide support All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
