We are working with a brilliant education provider in Theale, West Berkshire that is looking for a passionate individual to enter the school in October 2024 as a Behaviour Support Worker. The position is full-time, supporting students with additional needs or behaviour challenges throughout the school day.
Responsibilities of a Behaviour Support Worker:
* 1-1 support for students with SEMH needs
* Observing triggers for challenging behaviours
* Identifying self-regulation tactics when facing challenging behaviour
* Setting goals for students to work towards
* Participate in staff meetings to share observations and input on care plans
* Keep students focused and engaged in lessons
