Product Experience (PX) represents the voice of the consumers within IFF and helps to drive regional sales by providing insightful intelligence to optimize the consumer product experience.
IFF PX Europe is seeking a Product Experience Researcher for a 12-month maternity cover, starting October 2024. The position is based at our site in Haverhill, Suffolk, UK.
As a Product Experience Researcher, you will guide sensory and consumer research projects aligned with business opportunities and strategies. Focusing on the snack category, you will work closely with the creation and design team to generate insights relevant to product design and formulation, and collaborate with commercial and marketing teams to ensure impactful customer engagement.
Job Requirements
The ideal candidate will have experience in sensory and consumer research, be strategic, collaborative, pragmatic, and results-oriented. Passion for the field and making a difference are essential.
Responsibilities include:
1. Influencing high-impact projects for top European snack customers using available insights.
2. Screening snack project pipeline, managing reactive requests, and aligning with stakeholders.
3. Designing and executing sensory and consumer research to generate actionable insights for product development.
4. Analyzing complex data with statistical models.
5. Communicating insights effectively to stakeholders, project teams, customers, and leadership.
Required Skills:
* Masters or PhD in Sensory Science, Psychology, Food Science, or related field.
* Proficiency in sensory and consumer testing methodologies.
* Skills in statistical analysis and modeling.
* Ability to craft compelling data-driven stories.
* Excellent communication skills in English.
