FJA are recruiting on behalf of a leading service provider in the utilities industry for an experienced Site Engineer to strengthen their Construction team.
Location: Peterborough, Cambridgeshire.

Site Engineer role:
• Reporting directly to the Site Manager, your role will involve providing setting out and quality control services to ensure that the contract works are constructed safely and to specification whilst maintaining appropriate site records.
Site Engineer responsibilities:
• Ensure all works comply with CDM Regulations and the company's safe working practices.
• Assist in developing construction programs, Method Statements, Action Plans, and Risk Assessments.
• Setting out the works and checking site work to ensure compliance with the specification and drawings.
• Maintain drawing files, drawing register, and site filing system and assist in the preparation of the construction completion documentation
• Coordinate with the design department to ensure the use of the latest information.
• Take off quantities from drawings for measurement and requisition purposes.
• Ensure high-quality construction in accordance with specifications and best practices.
• Collaborate with site staff to ensure compliance with current legislation, company health and safety policies, procedures, and safe working practices.
• Establish open and honest communication and model exemplary safety behaviour.
Site Engineer requirements:
• BTEC National or HNC in Civil Engineering/Construction (minimum).
• Levelling & Surveying experience (using total stations & automatic level).
• First Aid at Work qualification (Desirable).
• SSSTS (Desirable).
• CSCS Supervision card (Desirable).
• EUSR SHEA Water (Desirable).
