Job Description
The ideal candidate is a self-motivated individual who can manage a project with oversight from proposal phase to construction administration.
Role Requirements:
* Solid structural steelwork design in accordance with Eurocode standards.
* Demonstrated track record working on large projects.
* Have excellent communication skills - both written and verbal.
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on various projects.
* Experienced using Tekla Structural Designer.
* Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
* Structural Steelwork member design and steelwork connection design experience.
* Must have right to work status.
Our clients have a salary range up to 50k per year experience (dependent on depth of experience and calibre) which can be discussed further at the initial interview.
Responsibilities
* Prepare design calculations, drawings, specifications, design analysis and construction cost estimates.
* Perform construction related services including shop drawing reviews, response to requests for information, periodic construction site observation, and occasional specialised structural inspections.
* Collaborate with architects and designers and building contractors on design and construction of projects.
Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Civil or Structural Engineering (other Engineering will be considered if alongside solid structural steel experience).
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Min. 8 years structural steel design experience, MS Office, Tekla Structural Designer.
