Imagine being actively responsible for making the company you work for better for everyone. Here at Southern Water, we value our commitment to supporting our staff and maintaining a positive relationship with our employees; as such, we are looking to expand our People Services team.
As a People Advisor working within the People Services team, you will be the first point of contact for Southern Water employees at all levels with the aim of providing HR advice and support in line with organisational policies, procedures, and legal requirements, with a focus on ER cases.
You will provide a dedicated HR advisory service in relation to a range of employment and employee relations matters as the first point of contact about established HR policies, procedures, and best practices, covering areas such as Employment law, ER, TUPE, and Org design.
You will be a motivated and focused individual who is comfortable managing a high volume of case loads as well as a wide range of case types. As Southern Water has sites all over the Southeast, this role requires you to have a full UK driving licence and own car as there will be a need to travel across the patch to support your cases.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced People Advisor to join a team where progression is encouraged, working toward a Junior Business Partner position in the long run.
You will be CIPD Qualified and have extensive knowledge of HR policies and processes with the ability to work within set parameters and understand governance and compliance policies, including Data Protection principles.
The role requires excellent attention to detail and planning skills with the ability to build authentic trust-based relationships at all levels of business.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who has a passion for HR and wants to know that their work is making a difference in supporting others. If this sounds like you, please send over your application today.
