Hothfield Brain Injury Rehabilitation Centre is a leading provider of specialist care for adults with acquired or traumatic brain injury and other neurological conditions. Our multidisciplinary team is committed to delivering high-quality, person-centred rehabilitation in a supportive environment. We are looking for a dedicated and passionate Assistant Psychologist to join our team and contribute to the life-changing work we do.
As an Assistant Psychologist, you will work under the supervision of a qualified Psychologist, supporting the delivery of psychological interventions to our patients. This is an excellent opportunity for a psychology graduate seeking hands-on experience in the field of neurorehabilitation, offering exposure to assessments, interventions, and multi-disciplinary team working.

What you'll be working:
This role is 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
What you'll be doing:
* Assist in the assessment and psychological interventions for patients with neurological conditions and acquired brain injuries.
* Support the development and delivery of individual treatment plans under supervision.
* Administer, score, and report on psychological assessments.
* Assist in the evaluation of the effectiveness of interventions.
* Support the psychology team in research, audit, and service evaluation activities.
* Provide psychological support and guidance to staff and families, promoting a holistic approach to patient care.
* Contribute to multidisciplinary meetings and liaise with other professionals to ensure cohesive care.
* Keeping people safe from any harm and protecting their human rights.
What you'll have:
* A degree in Psychology (BPS-accredited).
* Eligibility for Graduate Basis for Chartered Membership (GBC) of the British Psychological Society.
* Experience working in a clinical or healthcare setting.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* A genuine interest in neuropsychology and rehabilitation.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
* Successful candidates will be required to undergo an Enhanced DBS.
