We are looking for a Financial Services Accountant to come and join our established Financial Services Team. As a Team we strive to provide and evolve an excellent service for our fantastic colleagues on the frontline, in support services and for the patients of NHS Fife.
Your role as a Financial Services Accountant will be to ensure the continued close control of a number of financial services operations, ensuring a robust and effective financial governance process is maintained. You will become an integral and dependable part of the Financial Services Team, committed to supporting the organisation deliver its corporate objectives and ensure a strong sustainable future for the population of Fife.
You will have relevant financial control experience within a large or complex organisation along with current knowledge and experience of financial rules and statutory regulations which affect the public sector.
You will be a qualified or part qualified Accountant with previous and demonstratable experience in a financial control role, or alternatively have significant comparable knowledge and experience gained from a recent transferable role. You will have strong analytical skills and be able to confidently present highly complex financial information to a diverse finance and non-finance audience. You will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, inspire confidence, and develop effective working relations with both finance and non-finance colleagues. You will have significant experience of managing and working effectively as part of a team producing high quality financial information often to tight deadlines.
