Position Summary
We are currently recruiting for a talented individual to join us as a Senior Brand Manager for Carnation, reporting into the Head of Food Marketing. This is an opportunity where you will lead our annual brand plans and ensure flawless execution to deliver value-added marketing mix activity.
A day in the life of a Senior Brand Manager
As a Senior Brand Manager, you will be responsible for leading the strategic development and implementation of the Carnation portfolio. Your responsibilities include:
* Setting the integrated communications plan for the brand, collaborating with stakeholders including media and communications agencies, shopper, and digital/social teams.
* Identifying and delivering innovations and renovations for the brand as part of a cross-functional team.
* Delivering engaging brand experiences through traditional ATL, digital, experiential, or BTL activations.
* Monitoring monthly brand performances and collaborating with sales, category, finance, and supply chain teams to address identified gaps.
* Using business intelligence to capture key facts/trends to inform business choices and reporting internally/to the Zone.
* Tracking brand budgets with the support of the Finance team.
* Driving improvements by applying learnings from marketing activities into our planning cycle.
* Understanding the UK Baking/Desserts segments and consumer needs, monitoring industry and competitor activity.
* Coaching and developing junior team members.
What will make you successful
To succeed in this role, you will have strong marketing experience within a Senior Brand Manager role. You will need to be passionate, results-focused, and enjoy working in a dynamic environment. Key skills include:
* Strong leadership skills to drive brand ownership across the business.
* Effective presentation skills for diverse audiences.
* Capability in P&L management and financial analysis.
* Effective communication skills at all levels.
* Ability to manage sizable projects from concept to delivery.
