Energy & Infrastructure Lawyer - US Law firm
A leading US law firm is looking to hire a talented Energy & Infrastructure Associate with 5–7 years’ post-qualification experience to join its highly regarded global practice.
This is an exceptional opportunity for a mid-level lawyer with strong construction and EPC (Engineering, Procurement and Construction) experience, within the energy or infrastructure sectors, to work on some of the most complex and innovative projects in the market.
The successful candidate will play a key role in advising on the structuring, development, and delivery of large-scale energy and infrastructure projects, with a particular focus on EPC contracts, FIDIC/NEC-based agreements, and related commercial arrangements.
You will work across a diverse portfolio of high-profile transactions spanning renewables (including wind, solar, hydrogen and CCUS), traditional energy, and next-generation infrastructure, often in a cross-border context.
This role offers the chance to collaborate closely with a team of top-ranked lawyers, advising an impressive client base of sponsors, developers, funds, lenders and corporates. Ideal candidates will have experience gained at a leading city or international law firm, strong drafting and negotiation skills, and a genuine interest in the global energy transition.
Exposure to project finance, project development or broader energy transactions will be advantageous.
The firm offers a highly competitive compensation package, a clear progression pathway, and a forward-thinking, inclusive culture.
Based in London with flexible hybrid working options, this is an outstanding opportunity for a motivated lawyer to make a significant impact within a leading global team at the forefront of the energy and infrastructure sectors.
