The Management Accountant Role: As the Management Accountant, you will play a pivotal role in driving financial performance and supporting strategic decision-making. You will be responsible for providing accurate financial insights, managing budgets, and ensuring robust financial controls. Key Responsibilities: Prepare monthly management accounts, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports. Conduct variance analysis and provide insightful commentary on financial performance. Support the annual budgeting and forecasting processes. Monitor and manage costs, identifying opportunities for efficiency improvements. Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies. Collaborate with department heads to provide financial guidance and support. Assist in the preparation of year-end accounts and liaise with external auditors. What We're Looking For in the Management Accountant: Finalist or part-qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent). Proven experience in a similar management accounting or assistant role. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data. Excellent knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards. Proficiency in accounting software and Excel skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels.
