Are you passionate about providing exceptional care for Children and young people with mental health needs? We are looking for a Clinical Nurse Lead to join our team at the Highfield Adolescent Inpatient Unit, based at the Warneford Hospital in Oxford.

Work Pattern
This will involve 1-2 shifts on the ward to ensure clinical skills are maintained and support/supervision is provided to the nurses. This role will generally be full time Monday - Friday (9-5) with the expectation to work 1 weekend day over the month. This role can offer the possibility of looking at flexible candidates to suit the appropriate candidate.
What You'll Do:
* Be responsible for the effective organisation and delivery of high quality nursing care and clinical leadership within the Highfield Adolescent Unit.
* In conjunction with Head of Service, Senior Modern Matron, Modern Matron and Ward Manager, you will be expected to contribute in the development of acute service provision across the CAMHS Pathway.
* To provide, maintain and develop nursing care to the optimum standard possible within the resources provided.
* To act as the clinical leader, providing role modelling, facilitation and education to the nursing team.
* Support the provision of 24-hour care and clinical accountability for the unit.
* To work collaboratively with the senior nursing team in ensuring effective joint working with statutory and voluntary agencies to ensure responsive and appropriate service delivery to young people, families and carers.
