What skills and experience we're looking for
We are seeking to recruit a friendly and professional Admin Officer to join our small, aspirational village school. As our Admin Officer, you will play a crucial role in providing administrative support to all members of our school community, building strong working relationships with our staff team and our families. The variety in the job will keep you motivated and busy – there is never a dull moment!
This busy role is offered on a permanent basis for 15 hours per week, working Thursdays and Fridays, term time only. The hours will ideally be from 8am to 4pm, but there is scope for flexibility to agree times that suit, and the potential for an increase in hours in the future.
Experience of working in a school or educational setting is desirable, but not essential as full training will be provided.
The ideal candidate will have:
• Clerical/administrative experience
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Excellent organisational skills
• The ability to work independently, prioritise and meet deadlines
• The ability to be flexible and adapt to multiple tasks
• A positive attitude with enthusiasm and drive
