What will you be doing?
As part of a close-knit team, you'll take on a varied and supportive role, with the following key responsibilities:
* Lead and implement company-wide Quality Management Systems to drive continuous improvement.
* Oversee internal quality metrics to enhance customer satisfaction and boost product yields.
* Collaborate with teams to improve quality standards, including outgoing quality checks.
* Manage incoming product material quality control and ensure compliance with Certificates of Conformance.
* Support external quality certifications, audits, and compliance to drive successful outcomes for the business.
What would make you a great fit?
To thrive in this role, you will want to have the ability to add value quickly and draw from previous experience in a complex product manufacturing environment.
Whilst not exhaustive, meeting the following criteria would make you an excellent fit:
* Several years of Quality Engineering experience gained in a relevant role.
* An awareness of Quality Standards (e.g., ISO9001, IATF16949, ISO13485) would be great.
* Previous experience in monitoring and introducing improvement activity for product yield, scrap and defectivity levels
* An understanding of FMEA and Six Sigma principles as they apply to problem solving.
* A good grounding in project management principles and practices
