The Role: Reporting directly to the Sales & Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for preparing compelling and high-quality technical tender proposals. Your work will support long-term service contracts and one-off projects, ensuring we secure key opportunities in our sector. While prior experience in Bid Writing is preferred, we welcome applications from individuals with experience in tender submissions who have strong commercial acumen, exceptional organizational skills, and excellent communication abilities. Key Responsibilities: Bid Development: Craft, edit, and proofread high-quality commercial proposals with technical content, ensuring they are professional and concise. Coordination: Manage the bid response process, liaising with internal teams and senior stakeholders to gather necessary information. Quality Assurance: Review and refine documents prepared by others to maintain a high standard of submission quality. Time Management: Plan and oversee bid timelines, ensuring all submissions meet strict deadlines. Content Library: Develop and maintain a repository of standard answers, templates, and reference materials to enhance efficiency and consistency. Business Understanding: Engage with technical and commercial teams to develop a thorough understanding of our services and previous submissions. Process Improvement: Identify and implement ways to improve the bid response process and establish best practices. Template Development: Create standard templates for less complex bids, ensuring consistency and efficiency across submissions. Key Requirements: Exceptional written English skills, including grammar, spelling, and vocabulary. Ability to interpret technical concepts and tender questions, translating them into clear and concise responses. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines simultaneously. Commercial awareness and an understanding of the bidding/tendering process. Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work under pressure.
