We are renowned for our lively atmosphere and exceptional service, making us a top choice for events, casual dining, and drinks. As part of our continued growth, we're looking for an Assistant Manager to play a pivotal role in our events and operational success.
Key Responsibilities:
* Event Bookings & Coordination: Manage all event enquiries, ensuring seamless planning, communication, and execution of private and corporate events.
* Operations Management: Oversee the day-to-day venue operations, ensuring smooth running of both front-of-house and back-of-house teams during events.
* Team Leadership: Lead, train, and motivate a team of staff to deliver excellent customer service and create an exceptional guest experience.
* Marketing & Social Media: Develop and implement social media campaigns to promote events and special offers. Work closely with the marketing team to ensure our venues presence and growth in the market.
* Customer Service Excellence: Ensure high standards of service are maintained, resolving any customer issues or concerns quickly and professionally.
* Health & Safety & Compliance: Maintain health and safety protocols and ensure compliance with all relevant legislation.
* Event Analysis & Reporting: Assist in tracking event performance, guest satisfaction, and sales to ensure continuous improvement.
Skills & Experience:
* Proven experience in event management, hospitality, or a similar role, preferably within a venue with large-scale bookings and food & beverage operations.
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple bookings and projects simultaneously.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences.
* Ability to work under pressure and make quick decisions in a fast-paced environment.
* Proficiency in using booking systems, social media platforms, and other relevant software.
* Strong leadership and team management experience.
* A proactive, can-do attitude with a creative flair for event execution and marketing.
