A fantastic opportunity to be upskilled to a Baker in a commercial bakery. You will start with the basics and then learn how to bake commercially.
Duties
1. Assist in the preparation and production of bakery items
2. Measure and mix ingredients according to recipes
3. Operate baking equipment such as ovens, mixers, and dough sheeters
4. Monitor baking process to ensure products are baked to perfection
5. Decorate and finish baked goods with icing, glazes, and toppings
6. Clean and sanitize work areas, utensils, and equipment
7. Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines
Skills
1. Experience in baking or food preparation is preferred
2. Knowledge of culinary techniques and food production processes
3. Ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately
4. Strong attention to detail to ensure quality products
5. Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
6. Knowledge of kitchen equipment operation and maintenance
7. Familiarity with food safety regulations and procedures
