About You
We are recruiting for an experienced customer-focused Service Manager with a strong technical understanding, as well as current or very recent experience at management level within the retail motor industry.
This is an exciting challenge for an experienced Service Manager with excellent people management and communication skills. Your main focus will be to lead a quality team in a very busy department for excellent results.
As the Service Manager, you must organise the service activities to ensure the department’s efficient and profitable operation. You will also be responsible for managing a team including Service Technicians, Apprentices, Workshop Controller, Service Advisors, and Valetor/Drivers.
You will also be responsible for the following:
* Dealing with any customer issues and complaints.
* Ongoing monitoring and working to monthly, quarterly, and annual targets to maximise profitability.
* Maximising commercial opportunities, monitoring customer needs to maintain high levels of customer service.
* Effectively marketing and selling service plans and warranties.
* Demonstrating a good level of people management and holding monthly reviews with all of your team.

Working hours
Monday to Friday 8am to 6pm and one in three Saturdays 8.30am - 12.30pm.
