Job Description
Overview
Responsible to the Group Head of Proposals, this role will be a mix of Bid Management and Bid Authoring. The role holder will provide Bid Management and Bid authoring activities across all Shepley Group tendering and any supporting marketing requirements.
Responsibilities include the following:
Bid Management
* Lead and manage the entire bid process, from initial opportunity assessment to proposal submission.
* Develop and implement bid strategies, ensuring alignment with the client’s needs, company objectives, and competitive landscape.
* Create detailed bid plans, timelines, and allocate/engage resources effectively to ensure smooth bid execution.
* Monitor progress and proactively address any issues or risks to ensure deadlines are met.
* Management and production of governance documentation
Proposal Development:
1. Work closely with internal teams (Bid Coordinator, SHEQ, technical, commercial, finance, etc.) to gather relevant information and create compliant and compelling proposals.
2. Prepare, author and edit content for bid submissions, ensuring clarity, consistency, and compliance with client requirements.
3. Management of the question review process inline with SEL procedures
