About Us Reporting to our Scrutiny and Partnerships Manager you will be required to present performance and risk information and highlight opportunities, issues and potential solutions to inform decision makers including our Management Team and Councillors. You will be advising and supporting our council services to develop their performance indicators, risk registers and data quality, along with: • Developing a performance and data framework for the council that is communicated across the organisation. • Maintaining and developing the council’s performance and risk management software. • Managing contracts relating to performance management or business analysis software. With a specific responsibility for corporate performance and risk management, this role will suit someone with a keen interest and understanding of the value of using business intelligence to drive performance. It is essential that you have experience of liaising proactively with senior managers in a public sector or other large organisation, along with: • Experience of using performance management software and implementing new systems. • Highly effective IT skills – able to manipulate databases and analytical tools and software. Familiarity with data visualisation tools including Power BI, Tableau. Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
