Salary - £37,500 - £50,000 per annum, depending on experience
Hours - Monday to Friday, 35 hours per week with flexible, hybrid working
Holiday - 25 days annual leave (excluding bank holidays) increasing by one day per each year of service (up to a maximum of 5 days)

We have an exciting role for a Head of Outsourced Finance Services in our Stanley office.
We are looking for an ambitious and driven individual to lead, direct and continuously improve the Outsourced finance department of the business - improving speed, efficiency, and productivity within the department to deliver the revenue target for the department. To grow profitability by inspiring, motivating and driving the performance of the teams, guaranteeing the highest levels of productivity, efficiency, and quality of work whilst also achieving our client led Net Promoter Score targets.
You will be a member of the leadership team and will have the opportunity to be part of the succession planning co-hort to facilitate the career progression to Partner.
Key responsibilities of a Head of Outsourced Finance Services will include:
1. Plan, manage and prioritise the use of resources within the outsourced finance team.
2. Ensure filing deadlines and client agreed deadlines together with the fees targets are met.
3. Agree monthly completion targets and annual development plans with each team member ensuring adequate resource to meet the department targets.
4. Produce management accounts for clients.
5. Undertake project work to review client systems and processes.
6. Provide a bookkeeping service for clients.
7. Provide a payroll service for clients.
8. Complete VAT returns on behalf of clients.
9. Ensure VAT returns produced by outsourced team are reviewed by senior staff, completed on time and accurately produced.
10. Provide company secretarial services for clients.
11. Ensure billing is kept up to date at all times.
12. Assist colleagues to prepare for client meetings.
13. Respond efficiently to client enquiries.
14. Assist with P11Ds where needed.
15. Put forward business improvement ideas for all clients based on performance against projections.
16. Provide clear communication to management and lead advisors on timescales and the deliverability of assignments.
17. Manage and develop the team in terms of workflows, operational planning and allocation of assignments.
About you
We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience:
* Minimum of 12 months experience in heading a department or a number of service lines for a practice.
* ACCA/ACA qualified.
* Proficient in Xero, CCH and Advanced Excel.
* Experience with D2C integration and inventory management integration software.
* Able to plan and communicate effectively on all operational changes.
* Able to motivate and support the team to develop personally and professionally.
* Must be an efficient and personable communicator.
* Must be driven and ambitious.
* Strong organisational skills and high attention to detail.
* Able to lead by example and inspire the team to deliver a high level of client service at all times.
* Keen to develop and grow others in the team.
* Must have own transport as our office is difficult to get to by public transport.
