OEM Sales Manager Location: Midlands & North (National coverage) Salary: up to 55K (DOE) plus bonus and car allowance About the Role: We are seeking an experienced and driven OEM Sales Manager to represent and sell our client's lighting control system that simplifies Dali installations. You will sell to lighting companies, buying groups, and wholesalers across the UK. This is a key role to grow market presence, especially focusing on the Midlands up to Scotland. You will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders in the industry, understanding their needs, and negotiating contracts and pricing for innovative product solutions. Key Responsibilities: Sales & Business Development: Actively seek and generate new business opportunities within the lighting industry and buying groups/wholesalers, ensuring continuous growth and development of the product range. Negotiation & Contract Management: Negotiate pricing and contracts with customers to ensure mutually beneficial agreements. Product Knowledge: Have a deep understanding of lighting control systems and their unique value proposition, including their ease of use and compliance with Part L Building Regulations for lighting control in smaller local projects (e.g., schools, offices, and residential). Essential Skills & Experience: Proven Sales Track Record: A strong history of success in sales, within the lighting or electrical industry, with a focus on OEM products or similar technology solutions. Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with lighting control systems, building regulations (specifically Part L), and the technical requirements for smaller local projects. Relationship Building: Existing relationships within the lighting industry or buying groups/wholesalers is essential. Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information clearly to a non-technical audience.
