Housing Options Team Leader Location: Essex Salary: £35-40 per hour Duration: 6 months interim Greenacre are pleased to be supporting a social housing organisation, based in Essex, with their recruitment of a Housing Options Team Leader. You will lead and co-ordinate the day to day operational business of the Housing Options Team and it’s associated workload and ensure the team provide a cost effective value for money service to it’s community. What will you do in the role? Undertake day-to-day monitoring of workloads and management of the Housing Options Team Manage, motivate and develop members of the Housing Options Team, ensuring they meet performance and customer service objectives and deal with under-performance or disciplinary matters in accordance with the council’s procedures Manage the day to day working of the Housing Options Team to monitor that all processes and procedures for the taking of homelessness applications are followed, to ensure that the necessary enquiries and robust homelessness decisions are made in accordance to legislation and statutory guidance Manage the day to day working of the Housing Options Team to monitor that all processes and procedures to ensure the correct allocation of social housing within the district in accordance with the Council’s allocations policy are being followed Be responsible for the monitoring of the homelessness budget Who would excel in this role?
