Job Description
At TPTUTORS, we are building our tutor talent pool to support our clients with various student referrals. We are seeking experienced tutors with expertise in Special Educational Needs (SEN) to join our team on a part-time basis, working approximately 10-15 hours per week, with some roles starting from 1 hour per week.
Job Duties
1. Provide tailored educational support to students with SEN across various subjects, using your own materials and lesson plans to facilitate educational progress.
2. Complete session reports via our virtual platform, which are reviewed by the consultant and client and are essential for monitoring progress and processing payments.
3. Assess student progress and adapt teaching methods accordingly, demonstrating flexibility and patience.
4. Communicate effectively with students, parents, and consultants, reporting any challenges and ensuring smooth coordination.
Qualifications and Skills
* A degree in Education, Special Education, or a related field.
* Minimum of 2 years of tutoring or teaching experience.
* Strong knowledge of the UK education system.
* Ability to adapt teaching strategies to individual needs.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Working Conditions
Flexible, part-time hours, with sessions arranged based on mutual availability. Positions are temporary, lasting until a student secures a school placement, with some roles extending over multiple academic years.
