About the Role:

Working Hours:
Tuesday to Saturday (Tuesday to Friday 22:00-06:00 and Saturday 17.00-23.00) (33.5 hours per week)
About the role:
As a Process Leader, you’ll help manage the stock team processes and staff in order to meet Safety, Quality, Training, Productivity and Cost targets set by the Company, consistently and cost-effectively.
You’ll be a Key Player in the Production Department, helping drive and manage your production area in order to meet the customer needs to the required quality and safety standards for Avara Foods.
Responsibilities include:
* Organising and motivating the stock team staff to ensure they are working to their full potential and the operation is effectively staffed.
* Preparing the area ready for the count and all appropriate documents and scanning equipment.
* Finalising the documentation with all relevant data ready for next shift start.
* Ensuring that all staff including new staff are trained and developed appropriately and that relevant documentation is completed.
* Organising the stock team so all are clear on their areas of counts and issue out equipment and stocks.
* Achieving agreed quality standards and ensuring the product is consistently produced to the agreed standard and specification.
* Monitoring KPI data and reporting daily performance in the KPI meeting.
* Escalating issues in a timely way through key personnel to include production schedulers.
* Ensuring staffing issues are dealt with effectively, consistently and fairly.
* Providing leadership of the stock team throughout the shift and adherence to safety requirements.
What you’ll need to be successful:
* Experience of working within a fast-paced production environment.
* Excellent communication skills along with strong literacy and numeracy skills.
* Self-motivated with a positive working attitude.
* Reliable with the ability to form good working relationships.
* A practical approach to problem-solving.
* A team player with the ability to work with minimum supervision and be approachable to staff members.
