A lovely, community Primary School in Edgware is looking to appoint a Teaching Assistant to support a child with SEMH in KS1.
The Role
As an SEMH Teaching Assistant, you will be providing 1 to 1 support for a pupil in Year 1. The child has social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) needs and requires support in order to access learning and social situations across the school. You will work closely with the class teacher and the SENCO to ensure the pupil has the support they require. You will also be involved in assessments and provide regular feedback. A confident, positive, and resilient approach is essential for this role. Additionally, you will be required to support across the classroom as needed.
