Job Description
* Oversee daily accounting operations, including general ledger and financial reporting.
* Assist with budget preparation and financial planning processes.
* Perform monthly and quarterly assessment and forecast of organisation's financial performance against budget, financial and operational goals.
* Develop, implement, and maintain effective internal financial controls.
* Coordinate audit processes and liaise with external auditors.
* Manage financial standard setting and forecast process.
* Provide insightful information and expectations to senior executives to aid in long-term and short-term decision making.
* Adhere to current laws and regulations.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Management Accountant should have:
* An accredited degree in Accounting or Finance.
* Professional certification (e.g. CIMA or ACCA).
* Profound knowledge of accounting and financial processes (budgeting, financial closure, reporting etc.).
* Understanding of data analysis and forecasting.
* Proficiency in MS Office, particularly in Excel.
* Working knowledge of financial software.
* Understanding of business principles and practices.
* Superior attention to detail.
