A competitive salary enhanced every six months depending on individual progress and performance starting at around £18,900 per annum, rising to £25,300 at the end of the programme.

Work
As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.
What you’ll do at work
Car design and creation at Rolls-Royce Motor Cars is like nothing else in the industry. The apprenticeship features a unique opportunity to get hands on experience of all aspects of car design and creation. You will spend 2 days per week (in the first term) completing a ‘craft skills’ course which includes woodwork, sewing, mechanics, metal work and CAD.

Your training plan
You will be trained to create covered parts and gain knowledge of all aspects of interior trim.
The apprenticeship will entail time working at the plant in addition to college. One day is spent studying ‘Lean Manufacturing Theory’, one-day learning practical skills, and the remainder is on-site at Goodwood. When at Goodwood, you will shadow colleagues in different parts of the interior trim centre. You will develop your knowledge and skills in leatherwork, as well as inspecting and preparing surfaces for covering with a variety of materials.
